What is Pocari and why would you put it’s sweat (eww!) in a can?

It’s a sports drink here in Japan. The “sweat” part was chosen as a way to market it as a drink that resupplies you with the nutrients lost after you sweat. It doesn’t sound off-putting to Japanese people, but for English speakers, it’s a pretty funny/gross sounding name 😀

I love the vintage look of everything.

      thanks, kimmai 🙂
We see this rusty, old-style vending machine often on our walks. It looks so sad and forgotten. No one bothered to haul it away when the store got a new one, they just left it there to rust.

Pocari Sweat is just so awesome. Always makes me laugh anytime I see/hear of it! Cool picture again 🙂

Isn’t such a strange name? The first time I saw it, I was a little hesitant to try it, but now that I did, I’m hooked!
